The short version.
We collect the business contact and market-interest information you choose to submit, along with limited technical data needed to deliver and protect the site. If you allow analytics, we also measure public-site use so we can improve its content and navigation. We use information to respond, manage subscriptions, improve the site, and secure our services. We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or place advertising trackers on this public website.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information Ultraground Inc. ("Ultraground," "we," "us," or "our") collects through this public website, Ultraground market subdomains that link to this policy, including the market-access inquiry form, and to communications that result from those interactions. It does not replace a privacy, confidentiality, or data-use provision in a separate customer agreement.
Our customer market sites, customer workspaces, and third-party sites may have additional terms or notices. A third party's privacy notice governs information you provide directly on that party's site.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Contact details: name, work email, and optional telephone number.
- Professional details: company or organization.
- Interests and request details: markets selected, subscription status, and information you include in later communications.
- Scheduling details: if you choose to schedule through Calendly, we receive the meeting information needed to conduct and manage that meeting.
Information collected automatically
When you request a page, our hosting and security infrastructure may process your IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device type, referring page, requested URL, campaign parameters included in that URL, timestamps, and diagnostic or security events. This information is used to deliver the site, maintain availability, identify abusive traffic, and troubleshoot errors.
If you choose "Allow analytics," Google Analytics also processes page views, navigation paths, referral information, browser and device information, session statistics, and approximate geography. We do not send form fields such as your name, email address, telephone number, or company to Google Analytics.
Sources
We collect personal information directly from you, automatically through the website and its hosting infrastructure, and from service providers when they return information about a request you initiated, such as a subscription or scheduled meeting.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- evaluate and respond to market-access, data, platform, and API inquiries;
- match prospective customers to relevant city and metro coverage;
- create and manage an email subscription and send requested or market-related communications;
- schedule conversations and maintain business relationships;
- operate, secure, debug, and improve the website and prevent spam, fraud, or misuse;
- comply with law, enforce agreements, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and
- create aggregated or de-identified operational information that does not reasonably identify a person.
Providing a phone number does not authorize automated marketing calls or text messages. We will not send automated marketing texts without separate consent where consent is required.
4. How we disclose information
We disclose personal information only as reasonably necessary for these purposes:
- Email and subscriber management: Beehiiv receives form information and available campaign or referral parameters so it can create, attribute, and manage the requested subscription and associated custom fields.
- Hosting and security: the Sites hosting platform and Cloudflare may process network and device information to deliver and protect the site.
- Consent-based website analytics: if you allow analytics, Google LLC receives public-site usage and technical information through Google Analytics so we can understand site performance, content use, and inquiry journeys.
- Scheduling: Calendly processes information you submit on its scheduling page and returns meeting details to us.
- Professional advisers and authorities: when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, an audit, security, or the protection of rights and safety.
- Business transactions: in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or transfer of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell personal information. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising and do not disclose it to data brokers. We do not use the public-site inquiry form to collect payment-card, government-identifier, health, or other sensitive personal information; please do not submit that information through the form or ordinary email.
5. Cookies and tracking
We use Google Analytics 4 only if you select "Allow analytics" in our analytics preferences. Until then, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded. If you allow it, Google may set first-party cookies such as _ga to distinguish a browser and session and measure use of this site. We keep advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization disabled, and we do not deploy advertising pixels on this public website.
Your choice is stored in your browser for this site. You can change or withdraw it at any time using "Analytics preferences" in the footer. Withdrawing consent tells the tag to stop analytics storage and removes available Google Analytics cookies for this domain. The necessary ug_analytics_consent preference cookie records your choice for up to one year so we can continue to honor it across Ultraground subdomains. Our hosting and security provider may separately set strictly necessary cookies—for example, bot-detection, challenge, or load-balancing cookies—to keep the site secure and available. Blocking those necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We do not use Google Analytics for cross-site behavioral advertising. Browser Do Not Track signals are not standardized, so use our analytics preferences to control optional measurement. Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, a Global Privacy Control signal does not change our current practice. If our practices change, we will update this notice and respond to legally recognized preference signals as required.
Other parties do not collect personal information on this site for their own cross-site advertising. Google's handling of consented analytics information is also governed by its applicable terms and privacy materials. If you follow an external link, including to Calendly, that service may use its own cookies under its own privacy notice and controls.
6. Retention and security
Retention
We retain contact, company, market-interest, and subscription information while you are subscribed, while we are evaluating or maintaining a business relationship, and afterward only as reasonably necessary for a lawful business purpose. Those purposes include honoring an unsubscribe or suppression request, documenting consent and privacy requests, preventing abuse, resolving disputes, and satisfying legal or accounting obligations. Hosting and security logs are retained according to provider settings and only as reasonably necessary for security, reliability, and troubleshooting. Consented analytics event data and associated identifiers are retained according to our Google Analytics settings and only for as long as reasonably necessary to measure and improve the site. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably necessary for the disclosed purposes.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information, including encrypted transport, server-side handling of service credentials, access controls, input validation, and security infrastructure intended to detect abusive traffic. No transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
- Email: use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email at any time. We may still send non-promotional messages needed to respond to an active request or administer a customer relationship.
- Correction or deletion: contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you submitted.
- Phone: providing a phone number is optional. You may ask us not to contact you by phone.
- Analytics: use "Analytics preferences" in the footer to allow, decline, or withdraw optional Google Analytics measurement.
- Cookies: use your browser controls to block or delete cookies, recognizing that necessary security features may stop working.
Depending on where you live and whether a law applies to Ultraground, you may also have rights to know or access personal information, obtain a portable copy, correct inaccuracies, delete information, opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or certain profiling, limit certain uses of sensitive information, appeal a decision, and receive equal service without discrimination for exercising a privacy right. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising or legally significant automated profiling.
To exercise a right, email support@ultraground.com or call (512) 655-9309. Describe the request and the email address associated with your interaction. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting, and legal exceptions may apply. An authorized agent may submit a request where applicable law permits; we may ask for proof of authorization. If we deny an appealable request, our response will explain how to appeal. We do not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable right.
